This chapter contains frequent and recurring snippets from malware samples. The malware analysis chapter contains the full analysis of a sample, but this requires the complete sample to be suited for a blog. Additionally, the goal is to have as little repetition as possible within the course. As such, some samples may have major overlap with already covered samples, while still containing interesting snippets.
The goal of this chapter is to analyse these snippets in the usual step-by-step manner, allowing more samples to be included in the course, while also explaining frequently used concepts in malware in an organised manner.
